The Blue Party by Michenlo was the after party of the final night of Starlite Occident Madrid, on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. The party started in the lounge area after Sebastián Yatra’s concert and brought the first edition to a close.

The last of the 2023 sessions

The Blue Party by Michenlo was the last of the parties scheduled for the first edition of Starlite Occident Madrid, after Oro Viejo by DJ Nano, Juan Magán and Fedde Le Grand. The organisers billed it as one of the best-known parties in Spain, with a night of music, show and surprises. The Sessions space, with its pioneering sound system, immersive screens and VIP booths, hosted the edition’s closing party.

Michenlo and the blue party

Michenlo, DJ and influencer, began developing the Blue Party in 2019. Since then the party has turned the social media feeds of influencers and singers blue and has become a brand in its own right beyond its online presence. In Madrid, the venue turned blue after Sebastián Yatra’s concert for the last after party of the week, with Michenlo in the booth until the early hours.

The end of a week of full houses

The closing party came at the end of an edition that welcomed more than 50,000 people in seven days, began with consecutive sell-outs, from Rod Stewart to Manuel Turizo, and ended with another, Sebastián Yatra’s. The Blue Party wrapped up the after party programme of a week in which every night followed the same path: a concert in the auditorium, food and a party until dawn in the lounge area.

The Blue Party by Michenlo switched off the lights on the first edition of Starlite Occident Madrid: the last party of a week the capital was experiencing for the first time.
