From the first minute the crowd answered with shouts and sing-alongs. The setlist combined his latest hits with the songs that have defined his career: “Tacones Rojos”, “Vagabundo”, “Traicionera”, “Una noche sin pensar”, “Robarte un beso”, “Chica ideal”, “Pareja del Año” and “No hay nadie más”. Moments before the show, the Colombian admitted the production had taken him by surprise: “I arrived at the soundcheck and found this impressive set-up. I always say Starlite Occident is one of those places I go to and feel a little envious of the audience, because the party and the atmosphere are so good you want to be out there celebrating with everyone. Besides great legends like Rod Stewart and Sting, several colleagues I love dearly have sung here this year, like Manuel Turizo, Lola Índigo and Carlos Rivera.” After the concert, the Blue Party by Michenlo closed the week in the lounge area.

Yatra closed a week that brought together more than 50,000 people between December 14 and 20, with Rod Stewart, Sting, Manuel Turizo, Lola Índigo, Carlos Rivera and Yatra himself in the auditorium. Sandra García-Sanjuán, founder of the festival, summed up the debut: “The first edition of Starlite Occident Madrid has been tremendous. In 12 days we built the largest auditorium in Madrid by capacity after the WiZink, we created more than 1,000 jobs, and it has been the most important social gathering of business leaders, politicians, celebrities and artists. Madrid has welcomed us through the front door.” In the audience on the final night were Susanna Griso, Juana Acosta, Iván Sánchez, Carla Pereyra, Cholo Simeone, Clara Galle, Miriam Rodríguez, Roberto Leal, Rubén Bernal, Cristina Abad, Mónica Hoyos and Angie Rigueiro.
