Juan Magán played the New Year’s Eve after party at Starlite Occident Madrid on the night of Tuesday, December 31, 2024. After the Hombres G concert, his set in the lounge welcomed in 2025 and carried on until 6 am.

The New Year’s Eve after party

The second edition of Starlite Occident Madrid held a full New Year’s Eve party for the first time, from December 31, 2024 into January 1, 2025. The plan, announced in October, included the Hombres G concert in the auditorium, dinner, the traditional twelve grapes, party favours, an open bar from midnight and Juan Magán’s after party: more than ten hours of music from doors at 7 pm until 6 am.

The king of electro latino behind the decks

Regarded as the king of electro latino and one of the best-loved DJs in the Starlite Occident family, Juan Magán is a regular at the festival’s nights in Marbella and had already closed one of the nights of the first Madrid edition, in 2023. On New Year’s Eve 2024 he was the one setting the pace on the dance floor to welcome in the new year. The announcement of his set previewed hits such as “Bailando por ahí”, “Por fin te encontré”, “He llorado”, “Te voy a esperar” and “No sigue modas”, the repertoire that has taken the Badalona-born producer around the world.

Until dawn

According to the organisers, Juan Magán delivered a night behind the decks of the lounge “knowing what an after party at the level of the stars needs”. His set, followed by other DJs until 6 am, closed the second edition of Starlite Occident Madrid, which since December 12 had combined concerts, food, Christmas shopping and after parties at the venue in the capital. It was the last party of an edition that scheduled sessions after the concerts, with DJ Nano on Fridays December 20 and 27.
