Niña Pastori
Niña Pastori performed on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Starlite Occident Madrid, on the third night of the festival’s second Christmas edition in the Spanish capital. The artist from Cádiz presented “Feliz Navidad”, her new album of Christmas carols.
Christmas with Niña Pastori
Niña Pastori’s confirmation was announced on October 11, 2024 under the heading “Christmas with Niña Pastori”. Her concert, on Saturday, December 14, joined the dates already announced for Alejandro Fernández (December 12), Vanesa Martín (13), Black Eyed Peas (18), Camilo (20 and 21) and Taburete (27). The organisers billed it as a very special concert, designed for enjoying Christmas with family and friends, and opened an exclusive presale through the website ahead of general sales, which began the following Tuesday at 10 am. The date was part of a second edition of Starlite Occident Madrid longer than the first, from December 12 to 31, with more concerts and a venue twice the size.
“Feliz Navidad”: classic carols and two new songs
Niña Pastori arrived at Starlite Occident Madrid after a year of successes and with an album made for the occasion: “Feliz Navidad”, her new record, which includes reworked versions of classic Christmas carols and two previously unreleased songs written for the season. The artist from Cádiz, one of the voices that has most naturally brought flamenco roots to a wide audience, carried the Christmas spirit onto the stage of the festival’s indoor auditorium in the capital. The concert was part of the Starlite Occident Madrid winter season, whose auditorium is fitted with the HOLOPLOT audio system, designed so that the whole audience hears with the same quality and at the same volume, wherever they sit.
The Saturday of the first week
Niña Pastori’s concert closed the first weekend of Starlite Occident Madrid 2024, after the nights of Alejandro Fernández and Vanesa Martín and before Il Divo on Sunday the 15th. The edition’s line-up was later completed by Grupo Frontera, Black Eyed Peas, Camilo, Mau y Ricky, Clean Bandit, Isabel Pantoja, Taburete and Estopa, DJ Nano’s after parties on Fridays December 20 and 27, and the festival’s first New Year’s Eve in Madrid, with Hombres G and Juan Magán. Around the concerts, the edition offered the festival’s own restaurants, such as Tanabata, Raffaella and Ánima, a Food Hall with stalls and food trucks, Christmas shopping and a gourmet proposal in the box area from 7 pm.
Niña Pastori delivered the most festive concert of the first weekend of Starlite Occident Madrid 2024, with the carols of “Feliz Navidad” as its guiding thread.
