Vanesa Martin
Vanesa Martín performed on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Starlite Occident Madrid, on the second night of the festival’s second Christmas edition in the Spanish capital. The singer-songwriter from Málaga arrived as part of her Gira Exclusiva 2024 tour with a set of hits.
Second night of the 2024 edition
Vanesa Martín’s confirmation was announced on October 2, 2024, when the organisers presented the return of Starlite Occident Madrid from December 12 to 31. The Málaga-born artist joined the first dates on the bill, Alejandro Fernández (December 12) and Camilo (December 20 and 21), and took the second night of the season, Friday the 13th. Fans could sign up for an exclusive presale through the website, and general sales opened the following Friday at 10 am. The second edition came with a longer run, more concerts and a venue twice the size of 2023, sharing the DNA of the summer festival in Marbella: concerts, fine dining, Christmas shopping and nightlife into the early hours.
Gira Exclusiva 2024 and a set full of hits
Vanesa Martín came to Starlite Occident Madrid as part of her Gira Exclusiva 2024 tour. The organisers described her as one of the most relevant songwriters and performers in the Spanish-speaking world, with more than fifteen years of career behind her, and announced a show with a repertoire packed with hits. The list included songs such as “Quién lo diría”, “Si pudiera”, “Complicidad”, “No te pude retener” and “He sido”, along with her most recent release at the time, “El Nudo”. The singer-songwriter, who writes her own material and has built her name on deeply personal lyrics and an intimate live show, brought that format to the indoor auditorium of the festival’s winter season in the capital.
Twenty days of concerts, dining and after parties
Vanesa Martín’s concert was part of a 2024 line-up that brought together Alejandro Fernández, Niña Pastori, Il Divo, Grupo Frontera, Black Eyed Peas, Camilo, Mau y Ricky, Clean Bandit, Isabel Pantoja, Taburete and Estopa, plus DJ Nano’s after parties on Fridays December 20 and 27 and the festival’s first New Year’s Eve in Madrid, with Hombres G and Juan Magán. The auditorium was fitted with the HOLOPLOT audio system, which delivers the same sound quality and volume at any point in the venue. The food offering included the festival’s own restaurants, such as Tanabata, Raffaella and Ánima, a Food Hall with stalls and food trucks, and a gourmet proposal in the box area from 7 pm.
Vanesa Martín brought her songwriter’s voice to the second night of Starlite Occident Madrid 2024, in a Christmas season that for the first time stretched across twenty days.
