Manuel Carrasco
Manuel Carrasco chose Starlite Occident Madrid to close his tour on December 22, 2025. It was his first time on the stage of the festival's Madrid edition, during its third Christmas season, and he turned it into a concert of more than two hours.
The last night of the tour, in Madrid
Manuel Carrasco stepped onto the Starlite Occident Madrid stage for the first time at one of the key moments of his career: the final date of his tour. From the opening bars of "El grito del niño", followed by "Pueblo salvaje", he had the audience on its feet, and that start set the tone for a performance of more than two hours. The set moved through some of the defining songs of his career, such as "Qué bonito es querer" and "No dejes de soñar", now anthems for several generations. "Uno x Uno", "Hay que vivir el momento" and "Salitre", his duet with Camilo, were also there. The singer from Huelva delivered a night marked by commitment and a direct connection with the crowd.
"Quiero vivir" from the stalls
One of the most special moments came when Carrasco left the stage during "Quiero vivir" and sang the whole song from the stalls, side by side with the audience from start to finish. The gesture fits the festival's format, whose limited capacity lets artists get close to the crowd. The most intimate moment arrived with "Me dijeron de pequeño", performed at the piano: a deeply personal song about authenticity, self-acceptance and staying true to oneself in the face of outside opinions and the fear of failure. The concert ended with "Tengo el poder". Among the guests were Manuel Martos, journalists Antonio García Ferreras, Ana Pastor and Mónica Carrillo, and Luna Serrat.
A night with an extra celebration
The audience that night at Starlite Occident Madrid included figures from business and entertainment such as Susanna Griso, Carlos Latre, Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Iker Casillas and Sergio Scariolo, who enjoyed both the concert and the after party. Manuel Carrasco chose Starlite Occident Madrid to close his tour in style. It was the last major concert of the programme before the December 23 finale with the Ubuntu Choir of the Fundación Starlite.
Manuel Carrasco said goodbye to his tour at Starlite Occident Madrid with a show of more than two hours and an entire song sung from the stalls, at eye level with his audience.
