Navidad Ubuntu brought the third edition of Starlite Occident Madrid to a close on December 23, 2025. The Ubuntu Choir concert, organised by the Fundación Starlite, put more than 600 children on stage and featured Rosana, Sofía Ellar, Fernando López (Modestia Aparte) and Marilia (Ella Baila Sola) as guests.

A choir of more than 600 children

The Fundación Starlite reinforced its social commitment at Starlite Occident Madrid with the Ubuntu Choir concert that closed the Christmas edition. More than 600 children sang in the auditorium in a show built on the idea of culture as a driver of social and educational impact. They were joined by Rosana, Sofía Ellar, Fernando López of Modestia Aparte and Marilia of Ella Baila Sola. Navidad Ubuntu is a social project that "sparks emotions, brings people together and builds community", a musical experience designed to transform both those who sing and those who listen. It was the final act of a programme that had opened on December 11.

Charity market and Tu Historia Importa

The edition's social commitment went beyond the closing concert. In 2025 Starlite Occident Madrid launched its Charity Market, an initiative that gave space to associations, social projects and the Fundación Starlite itself to raise visibility and support for causes such as inclusion, health, children's care and support for vulnerable groups, with the chance for visitors to contribute directly. In addition, the Billboard No.1s gala, held for the first time outside the United States and entirely in Spanish, added a charitable dimension with the presentation of Tu Historia Importa, a project by the Fundación Starlite with the Fundación Lo Que De Verdad Importa that honours twelve people who devoted their lives to music through books that record their stories.

The third edition in review

From December 11 to 23, the third edition of Starlite Occident Madrid combined music, dining and nightlife in the capital. Melendi opened to a sold-out house, Ricky Martin gave his only concert in Spain, Disney in Concert: The Sound of Magic performed with the Orquesta Sinfónica Contemporánea de España, India Martínez shared the stage with friends such as Leire Martínez and Naira, Miguel Poveda delivered a Christmas recital, Emmanuel and Mijares played their first concert in the country, Gilberto Santa Rosa sold out and Manuel Carrasco closed his tour. Every night carried on at Starlite Sessions with after parties and DJ sets. The venue housed four restaurants: Ánima, Raffaella, Tanabata and the Caviar Bar. With this edition, the festival cemented its winter season in Madrid.

Navidad Ubuntu closed the third edition of Starlite Occident Madrid with more than 600 young voices on stage, the ending chosen by the Fundación Starlite for a season that opened with Melendi and ran through Ricky Martin, Emmanuel and Mijares and Manuel Carrasco.
