Ricky Martin

Date: 13 DecVenue: Madrid

Ricky Martin performed at Starlite Occident Madrid on Saturday, December 13, 2025, his only concert in Spain and a complete sell-out. It was the second consecutive sold-out night of the third edition and the artist's first appearance in the Madrid season.

His only concert in Spain, sold out

After his shows at Starlite Occident Marbella, Ricky Martin made his debut in the Madrid edition on December 13, 2025, giving the season its second consecutive night with every ticket sold. The show opened with “Pégate” and set a festive tone from the start that connected with a full Auditorium. With an elegant staging and relentless energy, the Puerto Rican star mixed up-tempo hits with ballads: “María” and “Adrenalina” brought the audience to its feet, “La Bomba” and “She Bangs” were sung from start to finish, and “Vuelve” slowed things down. For the final stretch he saved “Livin’ la Vida Loca”, the song that marked his international breakthrough and cemented his status as a Latin pop icon.

Edgar Ramírez, the Morente family and other guests

In the audience was Edgar Ramírez, the Venezuelan actor who played Gianni Versace in American Crime Story and shared the screen with Ricky Martin in that series. Also attending were actor Martiño Rivas, model Esther Cañadas, Juan Betancourt with Lola Riva, bullfighter Óscar Higares and Mohammed Al Turki, the Saudi producer based in Hollywood. For the Morente family it was an especially emotional concert: Estrella and Kiki Morente, with Estrella Conde and Javier Conde, attended on the 15th anniversary of Enrique Morente's death. The Madrid edition had already become one of the capital's main meeting points in December, and Ricky Martin's night confirmed it.

Fonsi Nieto's birthday at Starlite Sessions

After the concert, the night went on at Starlite Sessions with Fonsi Nieto's birthday celebration. The former rider took over the DJ booth and stretched the evening into an after party that lasted well into the early hours, surrounded by friends. The third edition of Starlite Occident Madrid continued until December 23 with concerts, restaurants, a Christmas market and after parties; the following night, December 14, the Auditorium hosted Disney in Concert: The Sound of Magic. When the season closed, the organisers recalled Ricky Martin's date as the artist's only concert in Spain.

Ricky Martin chose Starlite Occident Madrid for his only stop in Spain: a full-house night in the capital's winter season.
