Carlos Rivera

Rivera presented his latest single, "Te soñé", recorded as a duet with Carlos Vives, who had played the same stage on July 15. The song is about Tlaxcala, the Mexican state where he grew up. The set included songs from "Leyendas", an album of duets with artists such as Roberto Carlos, José Luis Perales and Raphael, and from "Crónicas de una guerra", whose tour was cut short by the pandemic. "Te esperaba", "Me muero" and "Recuérdame" were among the biggest singalongs. "This stage is special to me. I couldn't wait for this day to come," he said.

During the concert a couple got engaged in the audience: "Someone has just proposed here, congratulations," Rivera said. He also performed "Digan lo que digan" live for the first time: "Loving takes courage. People like to give their opinion, and I want to share this song because when you love, it doesn't matter what they say." In the presidential box, alongside Sandra García-Sanjuán and Ignacio Maluquer, were Diego Boneta and Renata Notni, Valeria Mazza and Alejandro Gravier, Cayetana Guillén-Cuervo and Omar Ayyashi, and Cynthia Rodríguez, the singer's partner. Actors Jesús Mosquera and José de la Torre also attended. The night continued in the Lounge.
