ARCHIVE/Marbella 2022
Dvicio
Dvicio performed at the Starlite Occident Marbella Auditorium on August 5, 2022, in a double bill shared with Marlon. The band was returning to a festival where it had started out five years earlier, on the small stage.
From the small stage to the Auditorium
Dvicio first played the festival in 2017, in the Sessions area. In 2019 they moved up to the Auditorium alongside Sidecars, and in 2020 they headlined on their own. Back in 2022, lead singer Andrés Ceballos recalled that beginning: "I remember the first time we played here, on the little stage, and the five of us climbed up over the seats and said 'let's see what the other stage is like'. We dreamed that one day, if we kept working, we could fill the Auditorium. Thank you all for being here." He added that the Marbella date is one the group always marks in capital letters on its calendar.
"Paraíso", "Rebeldes" and "5 Sentidos" among the crowd
The band from Rivas-Vaciamadrid included "Paraíso", "Rebeldes" and "5 Sentidos" in the set. Andrés Ceballos sang the last of these among the audience in the stalls, and once people were on their feet dancing they did not sit down again.
Marlon opened the night and Gloria Trevi watched from the box
Marlon opened the concert with "Locos de remate" and "Cosas". Their singer, Adrián Roma, walked over to the box where his partner, actress Ana Fernández, was sitting to sing "Mi Macarena" to her, and closed with "Con uñas y dientes" after encouraging the audience to fight for their dreams: "If you want it, I swear you can." Gloria Trevi, who was performing the following day with Mónica Naranjo, watched from the Presidential Box. Actors Jesús Mosquera and José de la Torre, singer Conchita, Luján Argüelles, and Makoke with her son Javier Tudela and Marina Romero also attended.
Five years after climbing over the seats to take a look at the Auditorium, Dvicio filled it at Starlite Occident Marbella.
