Sebastián Yatra played a sold-out Starlite Occident Marbella on June 23, 2022. The Colombian singer was returning to the festival after his 2018 and 2021 shows, and he dedicated the concert to its founders.

From the small stage to a full Auditorium

From the stage, Yatra recalled how his relationship with the festival began: "It is so special for me to be here, in front of you, because it has been five years coming to this festival since I started out. The first time I came to sing on the small stage, and I will always be grateful to Sandra and Ignacio for giving me that chance. Every time we have come back we have found more people in front of us, and today we can see the most special festival in Spain completely full". He dedicated the night to Sandra García-Sanjuán and Ignacio Maluquer, who were watching from the Presidential Box.

"Tacones rojos" among the crowd

The show opened with "Melancólicos anónimos". During "Tacones rojos" the singer came down from the stage to sing among his fans, with the whole Auditorium dancing. During "La niña de mis ojos" the audience switched on their phone lights and lit up the quarry. The finale came with "Chica ideal" and "Pareja del año". The crowd sang along so much that the songs ran longer than Yatra himself had planned.

"A night I will remember forever"

"This place is magical, it has been an incredible night that I will remember forever. This is the most special festival in Spain", said the singer, who described the festival as "the place where dreams come true". Actress Marta Hazas, singer Sofía Ellar, Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and Begoña Trapote were in the audience.

Sebastián Yatra started out on the small stage and in 2022 filled the Starlite Occident Marbella Auditorium: five years of visits summed up in one night.
