ARCHIVE/Marbella 2022
Sergio Dalma
Sergio Dalma played Starlite Occident Marbella on June 30, 2022 with songs from "Alegría", his latest album, and the classics from a career of more than thirty years.
A concert named after his album: "Alegría"
Often associated with melancholy ballads, Dalma arrived at the quarry with an energetic show that lived up to the title of his latest record. With twenty-one albums released, he also showed his brighter side with "La noche de San Juan", a single in which he leans towards rumba and Mediterranean sounds. On stage he said he felt "in paradise itself".
"It is an honour to be part of this line-up"
The Catalan singer had words for the festival and its team: "It is an honour to be part of this line-up with great Spanish and international artists. This festival, in its eleventh edition, is the most important in our country because it is led by very capable, very important people: Sandra and Ignacio and their great team, who make every night magical".
"Esa chica es mía", "Galilea" and "Bailar pegados"
Dalma came down from the stage to sing among the audience and brought the Auditorium to its feet with "Esa chica es mía", "Te amo", "Galilea" and "Bailar pegados". His husky voice and an Italian-inspired sound are his trademarks: the artist himself has explained that his parents were great fans of 1960s Italian music. He has also sung in Italian and Catalan, and his concerts bring together fans from different generations.
Sergio Dalma came to Starlite Occident Marbella in 2022 with an album called "Alegría" and a finale the whole Auditorium sang standing up.
