Siempre así
Siempre Así performed at Starlite Occident Marbella on August 26, 2022 to celebrate their 30th anniversary. The Seville group, regulars at the festival for several editions, brought the feel of an Andalusian feria to the Auditorium.
Thirty years and a regular date at the festival
Siempre Así's night is one that returns edition after edition. The concert opened with "Qué será de mí" and carried on for a couple of hours with their rumba. "We want to thank Sandra García-Sanjuán and Ignacio from the heart for always keeping this going in such a wonderful way. Starlite Occident is something unique. We have travelled the world and haven't found anything like it. As Andalusians and as Spaniards, we're proud to have this festival here in Marbella," the group's members said.
From "Sevilla tiene un color especial" to the "Salve del Olé"
They played "Juntos", "Se me va", "A mi manera", "Sevilla tiene un color especial" and "Si los hombres han llegado hasta la luna". After several encores, the group finished with the "Salve del Olé", a Rocío hymn that harks back to their beginnings and has become their anthem, with the Auditorium lit by phone lights. Watching from the presidential box with Sandra García-Sanjuán were Fran Rivera and Lourdes Montes, Pepe Barroso Jr. and Gara Arias, and José Ramón Calderón.
Siempre Así marked their thirty years at Starlite Occident Marbella the way they usually do: with several encores and a hymn sung in chorus.
