Fito Paez
Fito Páez celebrated the 30 years of 'El Amor después del Amor' at Starlite Occident Marbella on July 1, 2023, with Nathy Peluso as guest of honour in a night of Argentine rock.
The best-selling Spanish-language rock arrives at the cantera
The great Fito Páez offered the first tour concert at Starlite Occident Marbella reviewing, 30 years later, the songs of "El amor después del amor", the best-selling Spanish-language rock album of all time. He recently announced its re-recording with guest artists to give a current look. The Argentine author, composer, musician and film director signs one of the most acclaimed careers since his solo debut album "Del '63" (1984). With more than four decades, Fito has won 11 Latin Grammys and one Grammy Award. In 2021 he received the Latin Grammy for Musical Excellence.
Mariposa Tecnicolor, A rodar mi vida and La rueda mágica
His overwhelming talent and innate charisma flooded the festival space with rock, jazz, tango and folklore. The repertoire was led by his best-selling album: "La rueda mágica", "Dos días en la vida", "Pétalo de sal", "Brillante sobre el mic", "A rodar mi vida" and "Mariposa Tecnicolor". "Starlite Occident, thank you so much, it's been crazy. So much emotion. I hope it's not the last time. It was an unforgettable night," he said emotionally.
Nathy Peluso surprise with La Verónica and Buenos Aires
The evening featured Nathy Peluso, who had already played the festival in 2021. She took the Auditorium stage to perform with her great friend "La Verónica", from the new reissue, and "Buenos Aires". "Rarely does the artistic constellation produce someone so powerful, emotional, authentic, inspired, hard-working and dedicated to human and musical matter," Fito said of Nathy. "Fito, I'll tell you what you deserve. You're a magical being. Thanks for giving me the chance to love you," Nathy replied. Celebrities like supermodel Valeria Mazza and journalist Irene Villa enjoyed the concert.
With Fito Páez, Starlite Occident Marbella consecrates its Auditorium as a home for the most universal Argentine rock, where the great masters of the genre find the audience that celebrates each anniversary of their masterpieces.
