The Turin master's Auditorium debut
Renowned Italian pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi made his debut on the prestigious Starlite Occident Marbella stage. The festival enthusiastically welcomed Einaudi, who has reaped great triumphs with his introspective, atmospheric music. With roots in American minimalism and modern composition, this Turin-born piano virtuoso has become a globally-reaching star, not only for his albums but for his film compositions. His journey always focuses on the essential, achieving maximum intensity using the minimum necessary. After classical education at the Conservatories of Turin and Milan, his first solo record "Le Onde (The Waves)" (1996) inspired by Virginia Woolf attracted the piano world's attention.

Ludovico Einaudi's concert was simply spectacular. The talented Italian musician's piano ability created a magical, captivating atmosphere. Victoria Federica de Marichalar y Borbón enjoyed the show alongside Sandra García-Sanjuán. After the concert, Victoria Federica herself confessed to Ludovico Einaudi that she always listens to the musician in her moments of peace, that she used to play piano when little and would love to retake it. The attendees, completely captivated by the musician's compositions, said goodbye rising from their seats with a great ovation. A demonstration of how the subtlest piano can fill the Auditorium under the stars.
