Marbella vibrated with Luis Fonsi, one of the most awaited dates of the boutique festival for Latin rhythm lovers. This iconic Caribbean artist has become one of the main figures of Latin music with a career spanning over two decades. "Starlite Occident has an otherworldly magnetic superpower that embraces you and won't let you go, and always makes you want to come back. That's how I feel every time I receive the invitation to return. It's the happiest Yes of my life," he declared. Born in San Juan de Puerto Rico, his idols range from Michael Jackson to Luis Miguel, including Stevie Wonder.
Despacito: Guinness records and seven world titles
Although Luis Fonsi's career was already remarkable, it's with "Despacito" that he breaks all expectations. The song was released in 2017 with Daddy Yankee, but the Justin Bieber version broke all YouTube viewing records. Thanks to this hit, Fonsi has received seven Guinness World Records. He has been repeatedly awarded at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, Premios Lo Nuestro and Latin GRAMMY Awards. At the Auditorium he walked through his career with recent hits like "Vacío", "Bésame", "Vacaciones" and "Dolce", alongside iconic tracks like "Despacito", "Échame la culpa", "Calypso" and "No me doy por vencido".

After the concert, Starlite Occident Marbella held a Puerto Rican-themed afterparty until dawn.
