On 19 July 2023 Melendi returned to Starlite Occident Marbella for his sixth time, with "Cerrando Cicatrices" — the second part of his "Like y Cicatrices" tour — and a sold-out first night. The Asturian singer would close the festival on 2 September.

Top of his career

"I'm at the best moment of my career, and at the best moment of my life. The scars of my life are what made me who I am", said Melendi before the concert. "I love coming to the festival. This year is the first time I come twice in the same summer". A rumba-pop singer with multiple number-one records, in 2018 he was the most-streamed Spanish artist on Spotify Spain.

A setlist sung from start to finish

Marbella turned into a rumba night with "Caminando por la vida", "Un violinista en tu tejado", "La Promesa", "Lágrimas desordenadas", "Desde que estamos juntos", "Destino o casualidad" or "Tu jardín con enanitos". The audience spent much of the evening on its feet, and Melendi stepped down from the stage to sing among his fans.

Afterparty with Juan Magán and celebrities

Among the audience, supermodel and Starlite ambassador Valeria Mazza danced with her family. After the show, Juan Magán delivered the fourth of his ten sessions of the edition at Sessions, packing the lounge with his signature party.

Marbella hugged one of its most beloved artists again on a night when rumba pop turned the Auditorium into a dancefloor under the stars.
