Ricky Martin signed two sold-out nights at Starlite Occident Marbella on July 14 and 15, 2023, with his only two Spanish dates, in 'Ricky Martin Sinfónico' format with the Málaga Symphony Orchestra.
Only two Spanish dates ten years later
Ricky Martin, one of the most anticipated dates of the XII edition, unleashed all his charms before a packed Auditorium in his only two Spanish performances. The show was developed in symphonic form accompanied by the Málaga Symphony Orchestra with over 70 musicians. "Ricky Martin Sinfónico" combines songs that have left a mark on Latin music history. It wasn't the first time the global star performed at Starlite Occident Marbella, having participated in 2014. "Time flies, ten years have passed since I came. The nature of this place is very strong, this stage, the acoustics… Starlite is an addiction, I want to come more often".
Symphonic Livin' la vida loca, María and Vente pa'ca
Ricky Martin delighted with "Livin' la vida loca", "La bomba", "María", "Vente pa'ca", "Cup of life" and "Vuelve". The combination of his greatest hits with the symphonic accompaniment and the cantera's acoustic quality was welcomed enthusiastically. "Tonight I'll leave my soul on this stage. I want to have a good time, remember old times, celebrate life. Vulnerability will be on my skin," he confessed emotionally. As a golden touch, he said goodbye with "Tu Recuerdo" thanking the Orchestra. His awards include 95 Platinum, 40 Gold records, multiple Grammys and Latin Grammys (including Person of the Year) and 14 Billboard Awards.
Jaime Lorente, Michelle Rodríguez and Brigitte Nielsen turns 60
This unmissable date attracted numerous celebrities: supermodel Esther Cañadas, Amaury Nolasco, Eglantina Zingg, Bibiana Domit, Valeria Mazza (Starlite ambassador), sisters Barbara and Nicole Kimpel, José de la Torre, Josep Pedrerol, Kilian Hennessy and Marta Martínez-Bordiú. The second night added international actors Jaime Lorente (Money Heist), Michelle Rodríguez (Fast and Furious) and Óscar Martínez (The Distinguished Citizen). Brigitte Nielsen chose Starlite Occident Marbella to celebrate her 60th birthday. After the concerts, Puerto Rican-themed afterparties at Sessions.
With Ricky Martin, Starlite Occident Marbella confirms its Auditorium as the home of the King of Latin pop who has made the festival his essential stage for his most exclusive Spanish dates.
