Renowned DJ Juan Magán introduced at the Starlite Occident Marbella Sessions stage Tony Mils, a Mexican revelation artist with whom Magán announced he was preparing a song. When inviting him, the Spanish singer told a special anecdote: "The last time I introduced a new artist on this stage was Sebastián Yatra, and look where he is now," he said referring to the young Colombian when he was just starting his career in our country. Tony Mils, young Mexican talent, thus took one of the festival's most symbolic handovers.
Sessions, springboard for great Latin stars
The Starlite Occident Marbella Sessions stage has historically been a springboard for the great Latin pop stars. From its boards debuted Sebastián Yatra, C. Tangana and Morat when their careers were just taking off. The introduction of Tony Mils fits perfectly with the boutique festival's vocation as discoverer of the names that years later will fill Auditoriums. The complicity with Juan Magán, resident festival DJ and Latin electro reference, placed the young Mexican in one of the best starting positions of contemporary Latin urban.
