ARCHIVE/Marbella 2024
84
84, the Madrid pop-rock trio, returned to the Starlite Occident Marbella Sessions stage on July 27, 2024, offering a preview of 'Bonita resaca', their imminent album, after Maldita Nerea.
The Madrid trio that sings to Madrid arrives at the cantera
The Spanish pop-tinged evening continued at the Sessions stage where 84 took over. The group, which since its 2005 birth has spent years singing to Madrid, returned to the festival to offer its show to Marbella. The Madrid trio Jaime, Mon and Beris, with a very peculiar pop-rock blend and lyrics that catch, recalled some of their mythic tracks: "Historias del arte", "El Burdel de las Sirenas" or "Flor de primavera", the last one recorded with Asturian band Marlon, who would perform at the Auditorium on August 15. "It's a huge pleasure to be here again. The place, the sound, the atmosphere. An incomparable setting. Starlite Occident is one of the most beautiful places where you can play".
Bonita resaca, El verano que viene and Olas de Calor
Their fans had to wait to hear new proposals and at La Cantera, 84 offered a preview of the album they would release that same year. "Bonita resaca", the single naming the awaited album, "El verano que viene" and "Olas de Calor" were the other singles of the brand new project. Dynamic, friendly and humble, the three friends and musicians showed the rebirth of a group with a generation name, betting on freshness and good vibes of an unburdened pop.
With 84, Starlite Occident Marbella reaffirms its Sessions as the stage where the most generational Spanish pop-rock groups find the audience that celebrates each new release under the stars.
