Abraham Mateo and Nil Moliner starred on August 16, 2024, in one of the most explosive nights of the XIII edition of Starlite Occident Marbella, with a double debut and the live premiere of 'Tienes que Saber' with Naiara.
Abraham Mateo, the child prodigy turned global star
The first act was Abraham Mateo, one of the most talented and versatile artists on the scene. The San Fernando singer is honours-grade across the board: his voice has a thousand nuances, he executes every choreography at the level of his dancers, he writes and composes, and he has produced for artists like 50 Cent, Jennifer Lopez, Luis Fonsi, Manuel Turizo or Juan Magán. "I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. Coming to Starlite Occident with my own show is another dream I can cross off my list. I came to Emilia Mernes' concert and I already felt the nerves", he said. "Señorita", "Loco Enamorado", "¿Qué Ha Pasao'?", "Clavaito", "Quiero Decirte" and "Maníaca" rang out. Naiara, 2024 Operación Triunfo winner, joined him to premiere "Tienes que Saber".
Nil Moliner: Soldadito de Hierro, Libertad and Mi Religión
Nil Moliner, the second act, was also a child prodigy, debuting as vocalist and guitarist of pop-rock band CyBee at just 12. In 2020 he released his debut album "Bailando en la batalla", followed by "Un Secreto al que Gritar" (2021) and "Lugar Paraíso" (2023). His fresh pop, energy and good vibes lifted the Auditorium with songs like "Soldadito de Hierro", "Mi Religión", "Bailando", "Esperando", "Libertad", "Cien por cien", "Vuela Alto" and "Meneito". "The world is getting a little crazier. I want to tell you to never lose hope and strength to fight for a better world. Thank you for choosing this as your paradise today", he confessed.
Pool Party, Alba Silva and Marta Martínez-Bordiú
Enjoying the Starlite Occident Marbella experience were familiar faces like Alba Silva —expecting her first baby with footballer Sergio Rico— and her sister Macarena Silva. Also Marta Martínez-Bordiú, influencer Jonata (@jonata.26) and Paula Koops. After the concerts, Starlite Occident Marbella held a fun, refreshing Pool Party at the Sessions space, consolidating its nightclub as the epicentre of the summer's best parties: the best plan to dance until dawn.
With Abraham Mateo and Nil Moliner, Starlite Occident Marbella reaffirms its Auditorium as a space where the grown-up child prodigies of Spanish pop find the adult date they deserve.
