Ana Mena
Ana Mena debuted with a sold out at Starlite Occident Marbella on August 23, 2024, with her 'Bellodrama' tour, presenting the album that has consolidated her as one of the biggest Spanish pop stars.
Spanish pop's new sensation arrives at the cantera
Starlite Occident Marbella welcomed Ana Mena, the Spanish pop sensation, for the first time. Born in Estepona 27 years ago, she debuted at the Auditorium with "Bellodrama", her latest album released in 2023, the record that has placed her among the most projected artists. Ana is a true star and knows what taking the stage means: she's been doing it since 2006, at just 9 years old. After years combining music and acting, in 2015 she released "No soy como tú crees", which broke into Spotify charts and opened her solo career with "Index" (2018). "Thank you Starlite Occident, this is an infinite gift. Tonight I've made a dream come true," she said emotionally.
Bellodrama live: a diva with dance crew
With diva-worthy staging, surrounded by a sensational dance crew, Ana Mena opened with "Me he pillao x ti" with Natalia Lacunza. Her choreography, voice, melodies and command of the live show turned her performance into a conquest. The setlist combined "Lentamente", "un Millón de Lunas", "Ben & Jerry's", "Me enamoro", "Un clásico" and "Llorando en la disco" with the most awaited collaborations: "Se iluminaba" with Fred De Palma, the remix of "A Un Paso de la Luna" with Rocco Hunt and "Música ligera", a tribute to Italian-Spanish 60s pop. "It's my heartfelt applause to divas ahead of their time like Massiel, Cecilia or Mina," she explained.
Un Beso de Improviso, Solo, Ya es hora and Las 12 to close
She also performed her most consolidated hits: "Un beso de improviso" with Fred De Palma, "Solo" with Maffio and Omar Montes, "Ya es hora" with De la Ghetto and Becky G, plus covers like "Puedes Contar Conmigo" by La Oreja de Van Gogh and "Quiero Decirte" with Abraham Mateo, with whom she shares a very special connection since childhood. The pop star showed her versatility, excellent vocal range and control and unique charisma. Happy, radiant and grateful, she closed her first Starlite Occident Marbella show with "Las 12".
With Ana Mena, Starlite Occident Marbella confirms its Auditorium as home to the great new Spanish pop voices that have arrived to lead the international scene from Andalusia.
