Christian Nodal closed his Spanish tour at Starlite Occident Marbella on July 13, 2024, with his 'Forajido' tour, the mariacheño and the surprise of Guillermo Ochoa turning 39.
Mariacheño closes Spain at the Marbella cantera
The Starlite Occident Marbella stage vibrated with Christian Nodal's energy and talent, one of the leading exponents of Mexican regional music. The concert, part of his "Forajido" tour, was his last date of the year with the Spanish audience, gathering thousands of attendees eager to enjoy an unforgettable night under the Andalusian sky. This 25-year-old singer is revolutionising styles as traditional as mariachi, norteño or cumbia, revisiting and mixing them with reggaeton or trap rhythms, even creating a new style baptised as "mariacheño".
Adiós Amor, Botella Tras Botella and the Grammys
Nodal opened with "Adiós Amor", one of his greatest hits, with the audience passionately chanting every word. "Thanks Starlite Occident for filling Marbella with colours, it's a true pride to come from the other side of the world and hear you sing this beautifully," he said. With love, heartbreak and nostalgia, he ran through "Ya no Somos ni Seremos", "No Te Contaron Mal", "De los Besos que te Di", "Probablemente", "La mitad", "La intención" or "Botella Tras Botella", an anthem that has broken records. With three albums, Nodal collects 5 Latin Grammys, 8 Latin Billboards, 11 Latin American Music Awards and 10 Premios lo Nuestro.
Guillermo Ochoa turns 39 and Las Mañanitas
One of the most special moments came when Nodal brought his compadre Guillermo Ochoa, historic Mexican national team goalkeeper, on stage. He was celebrating his 39th birthday from the Presidential Box. Nodal dedicated him "Las Mañanitas" and together they performed "Adiós Amor", the song the footballer discovered him with: "I know we never talk politics, religion or football. But tonight I'm proud to have a friend I deeply admire and respect. A compadre who has saved us from many, many." Mexican artist Bibiana Domit and Marta Martínez-Bordiú also enjoyed the experience. Nodal collects collaborations with Tini, Camilo, Piso 21, Ricky Martin, David Bisbal and Peso Pluma.
