Hauser
Hauser, the Croatian cello genius, conquered the Starlite Occident Marbella Auditorium on August 7, 2024, with his world tour 'Rebel with a Cello' in a magical night that also celebrated Paula Echevarría's birthday.
The cellist breaking conventions arrives at the cantera
Stjepan Hauser —known artistically simply as Hauser— delivered a display of genius with his cello at the Starlite Occident Marbella Auditorium. Now a global star, the Croatian is one of the most talented, respected and versatile performers on the current scene. The show was part of his world tour "Rebel with a Cello", taking Hauser across five continents. A classically trained cellist, he has always been known for his strong personality and eclectic approach. After playing Brahms, Beethoven, Mozart or Tchaikovsky, he launched into experimenting with other styles, breaking stereotypes. "I'm very happy to perform today at Starlite Occident and really excited," he said.
Pirates of the Caribbean, Despacito and Bamboleo with cello
Hauser played some mythical songs from soundtracks like "Pirates of the Caribbean" or "Game of Thrones". But that wasn't the end of his desire to explore. He also performed popular tracks from the Latin scene like "Livin' la vida loca", "Despacito", "La isla bonita", "Bamboleo" or "Volare". Hauser enjoys the moment and makes others enjoy, giving a lesson on how to face conventions and make them fall. Backed by an exceptional orchestra of strings, winds and percussion, he also reinterpreted "Waka Waka" and "Highway to Hell", showing off his charisma.
Paula Echevarría's birthday and Juan Magán at Sessions
As is tradition, Paula Echevarría chose Starlite Occident Marbella to celebrate her 47th birthday. The actress enjoyed a magical night surrounded by friends: Marta Carriedo, Poty Castillo and Isabel Navarro, Miguel Melgar and Sonia Antón, Fernando Sanz and Ingrid Asensio, Ana Antic and Michelle Costello, Enrique Riquelme and Malen. A classic too were Juan Magán's Sessions sets —his seventh of the summer— where he surprised everyone by bringing Paula Echevarría on stage to sing "Si no te quisiera" together. The whole audience sang her happy birthday.
With Hauser, Starlite Occident Marbella reaffirms its Auditorium as a space where the geniuses of rebel classicism find the stage to prove that music, without labels, moves everyone.
