The versatile Puerto Rican debuts at the cantera
Justin Quiles landed for the first time at the Starlite Occident Marbella Auditorium amid great expectation. Quiles did not disappoint: he delighted with an extensive repertoire of varied styles, claiming his versatile profile. He moved from reggaeton to Latin rhythms without leaving behind the more romantic ballads. "Since I was thirteen I've been writing songs, but my career as such started 10 years ago. It's flown by. Life goes very fast," he said. He has written international hits for figures like J Balvin, Maluma, Anitta, Karol G and Daddy Yankee.
La Esencia de J Qui: from studio to stage
As his 2024 tour name indicates, the singer came to present "La Esencia de J Qui". After touring the US and Latin America, in Marbella Justin Quiles proved to be the best interpreter of his own compositions. The Puerto Rican covered extensively the songs from his latest album "The Academy: Segunda Misión", with popular and recent hits: "Si, Si, Si, Si" with Eladio Carrion, Bryant Myers and Dei V; "Quítenme el Teléfono" with Yandel and Jay Wheeler; and the well-known "La Ranger" with Myke Towers. Justin showered charisma and flow on stage.
Porfa, Qué más pues and Juan Magán at Sessions
"Porfa" and "Qué más pues" also rang out among the Puerto Rican's hits. Enjoying the experience were former Minister Reyes Maroto, model Desirée Cordero, footballers Munir El Haddadi and Luis Milla, rapper Elio Toffana with actress Ana Peinado and Marta Martínez-Bordiú. After the concert, the festival turned Sessions into a great open-air nightclub with a master of ceremonies: Juan Magán. The audience danced to international hits like "Bailando por ahí", "Por fin te encontré" or "Verano azul".
With Justin Quiles, Starlite Occident Marbella reaffirms its Auditorium as a destination for the star songwriters of Latin urban who have written the summer anthems for an entire generation.
