Malú
Malú returned to Starlite Occident Marbella on August 5, 2024, celebrating her Silver Anniversary with music, her 'A Todo Sí Tour-25 years of Aprendiz' and an intact voice spanning her entire career.
Silver Anniversary at the cantera and a grown-up child prodigy
Given her youthful look and the energy she pours on stage, it's surprising that Malú landed at Starlite Occident Marbella celebrating her Silver Anniversary, 25 years of career. The Madrid artist was a true child prodigy: from childhood she sang and composed her own songs. Daughter of flamenco cantaor Pepe de Lucía and niece of guitar legend Paco de Lucía, the artist never forgets her roots. "One of the most wonderful things about my career is being able to return to the places that made me feel. Coming back to this stage makes me feel truly privileged," she said.
A Todo Sí Tour: revisiting greatest hits with friends
The show is part of her "A Todo Sí" tour, the name of her 2023 album where Malú revisits her most emblematic tracks: "Diles" with Ana Mena collaborating for the first time; "Enamorada" with Niña Pastori turned into salsa; "Guerra Fría" with Luis Fonsi; "El Apagón" with Melendi; or "Ausente", a song composed by Pablo Alborán exclusively for her. Malú is loved not only by her audience but also by her stage colleagues, always eager to collaborate with her.
Aprendiz, Blanco y Negro and familiar faces
She also walked through some of her classics like "Aprendiz", included in her self-titled debut album —Triple Platinum— at only 16; "Blanco y Negro", "Ahora Tú", "Sin ti Todo Anda Mal", "Toda" or "Como una Flor", featuring DJ Nano. The artist proved she is at one of the best professional moments of her career. Familiar faces like Cayetana Guillén-Cuervo and Omar Ayyashi, Víctor Puerto and Noelia Margotón, Marta and Jaime Martínez-Bordiú, Kiko Narváez, Nacho Abad and Mario Jefferson enjoyed the experience.
With Malú, Starlite Occident Marbella confirms its Auditorium as home to the great female voices that have shaped a quarter of a century of Spanish-language music.
