Marlena
Marlena conquered the Starlite Occident Marbella Sessions stage on July 29, 2024, with their indie pop after Aitana's second night, presenting the anthems of Ana Legazpi and Carolina Moyano.
The indie pop duo connecting with everyday life
After "hurricane Aitana", the night continued at the Starlite Occident Marbella Sessions stage where Marlena performed. Ana Legazpi and Carolina Moyano have been on the road for a few years gaining experience, and they proved it. The duo charmed the boutique festival's audience with their indie pop and lyrics that talk about everyday life, first loves and heartbreak. Universal themes that let them connect with all kinds of audiences. Marlena, a name that for Italians represents "the goddess of creativity and female empowerment", played some of their most popular singles: "Me sabe Mal", "Te vas a Inventar", "Bailamorena" and of course the well-known "Amor de Verano" with which they competed in Benidorm Fest.
Sessions as the great open-air nightclub
As every night, Starlite Occident Marbella turned its Sessions space into a great open-air nightclub. Nature, innovation and cutting-edge music united in the festival's boldest space to dance until dawn. Surrounded by stars and in a magical atmosphere, the audience lived a fun, groundbreaking experience. Marlena's Sessions debut confirmed why Ana and Carolina are one of the most solid bets of Spanish indie pop, capable of filling any stage with complicity through their honest, close songs.
With Marlena, Starlite Occident Marbella reaffirms its Sessions as a space where the most singular voices of female Spanish indie pop find the stage to grow alongside the audience.
