Marlon and Paula Mattheus starred in a double pop bill at Starlite Occident Marbella on August 15, 2024, with the revelation singer-songwriter and the fifth consecutive appearance of the Asturian trio.
Paula Mattheus, the revelation returns to the Auditorium
After opening at Starlite Occident Marbella 2021, Paula Mattheus returned to the main Auditorium as the breakthrough singer-songwriter of the moment, joining the XIII edition lineup. The so-called "festival of opportunities" again watched one of its bets grow on its stage. The 27-year-old Basque artist came out overflowing with talent and joy, her trademark guitar in hand, encouraging the audience to sing "Ya No Me Joden la Fiesta…", her latest single. "Valientes de Sofá", "Tocado y Hundido", "Me Pasaste Tú", "Vale La Pena", "Chica Formal" and the autobiographical "Me presento" rang out.
Marlon: fifth appearance with Que se Caiga el Cielo
The Asturian trio, now established as one of the references of national pop-rock, burst onto an Auditorium hosting them for the fifth consecutive time. Adrián Roma on vocals, Juan Fernández on guitar and Jorge Diéguez on bass presented live "Que se Caiga el Cielo", their third studio album released in October 2023. The band, describing itself as "a rebellious soul searching for a world of peace, love, good vibes and rock & roll", opened with "XAO", the first single, followed by "Comértelo todo" and "De L.A. a Nueva York!!". "Tequila y Candela", "Con uñas y dientes", "Mi Macarena", "96", "Me supo a poco" and "Marzo en febrero" delighted the crowd.
24/7 together, Superman, De Perreo and DJ Nano closing
Taking advantage of the double bill, Marlon also performed "24/7" with Paula Mattheus. "Superman", "De Perreo" and "Pirata", tracks from their latest project, confirmed that they are one of the most celebrated and projected bands on the national scene. The evening did not end there: DJ Nano took over the Sessions stage and the party continued to the rhythm of one of the urban heroes of the moment. Lorena Gómez, Pablo Garna and Paula Koops enjoyed the Starlite Occident Marbella experience.
With Marlon and Paula Mattheus, Starlite Occident Marbella confirms its Auditorium as the "festival of opportunities" where young Spanish pop finds the stage to grow alongside its audience.
