Pop-rock covers for an essential summer night
At the end of the dazzling Auditorium performance, Picoco's Band burst onto the Starlite Occident Marbella Sessions stage. The pop-rock band specialising in covering hits from the Spanish music scene of the last thirty years, led by Tenerife's David Ascanio, delivered a show that is essential on any summer night. With a repertoire packed with songs that have shaped a generation, they had everyone dancing and singing.
Charisma, careful sound and audience connection
David Ascanio, charismatic vocalist, alongside Pedro Roncero (piano), Mondy Alonso "Sir Python" (drums), Dani Criado (bass) and Tolo Pueyo (guitar and vocals), triumphed with their always entertaining live show. Notable staging, careful sound and audience interaction were the keys of a group that enjoys playing the songs people want to hear. Familiar faces enjoying Sessions included Cristina Iglesias, influencer Ana Brito, actor Juanlu González, supermodel Valeria Mazza and businessman Vicente Boluda.
With Picoco's Band, Starlite Occident Marbella confirms its Sessions as a space where the tribute party to the great Spanish pop anthems lives its best version under the stars.
