Starlite Occident Marbella celebrated the second day of its XIII edition with a living legend of folk and blues. The festival of the stars was the place chosen by Sir Van Morrison to offer his only Spanish concert. Van Morrison, one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, responsible for songs that shaped an era and inspired so many musicians, became one of the boutique festival's must-visit dates. The XIII edition opened with Spain's biggest stage, the planet's most advanced HOLOPLOT sound configuration and five restaurants.

With his unmistakable hat and characteristic voice, Van Morrison, 78, took the Starlite Occident Marbella stage offering a unique performance in our country. His influence extends to several generations of musicians and fans, consolidating his status as a true music master. The pilgrimage to Marbella to enjoy this exclusive concert filled the venue with people from everywhere. A true innovator and restless seeker, Van Morrison fused R&B, jazz, blues and Celtic folk with the precision of an alchemist. "Days like this", "Think twice", "Wild night" and "Gloria" —one of the most important songs in rock history— filled the night.
Luz Casal, Mar Flores and an international audience
Familiar faces like singer Luz Casal —who has also performed at the festival in other editions—; model and entrepreneur Mar Flores, journalist Pepe Navarro, Nicole Kimpel, Marta Martínez-Bordiú, and speaker Margarita Álvarez (CEO of Working for Happiness) did not want to miss this unique date.
