The Zaragoza duo debuts after 30 years of career
Marbella lived an evening that was a collective reunion with songs that have crossed generations and a fierce demonstration that Amaral has not moved an inch from where they started: honesty. The Zaragoza duo's first time at Starlite Occident Marbella made clear that they are not about living on memories, but about keeping on writing the future. Eva Amaral and Juan Aguirre began playing in small venues in the mid-90s, with no weapons other than their songs and a unique way of telling them. Since then, they have built one of the most solid, respected and beloved careers in Spanish pop-rock.
Dolce Vita and generational anthems live
"Dolce Vita", the album opener and tour namesake, was also the gateway to a moving night. With "Eso que te vuela la cabeza" and "Tal y como soy", Juan and Eva wove a story that grew in meaning until it exploded with "Toda la noche en la calle". No one needed to ask for "Kamikaze" or "Moriría por vos", nor explain "Ruido" or "La suerte". But the biggest impact came with "En el centro de un tornado", where Eva flew over the stage again, an iconic image of this tour that sums up the night: beauty, chaos and the need to stay airborne when everything trembles.

The setlist navigated between new songs —"Los demonios del fuego", "Viernes Santo", "La unidad del dolor"— and classics now part of the collective DNA: "Cómo hablar", "Revolución", "Marta, Sebas, Guille y los demás", "El universo sobre mí" and "Salir corriendo". The closing with "Ahí estás" was pure Amaral. Familiar faces in the crowd included Irene Villa, Cayetana Guillén Cuervo, Valeria Mazza, Estefanía Luyk and her daughter, Zayra Gutiérrez, Edu Aguirre and Vania Millán. Also Paula Echevarría, who celebrated her 48th birthday alongside Miguel Torres, her daughter Daniella and many friends.
With Amaral, Starlite Occident Marbella once again confirms its Auditorium as an emotional home for the great names of Spanish pop-rock who keep writing the future after three decades on stage.
