Carolina Durante
Carolina Durante debuted at Starlite Occident Marbella on August 15, 2025, with their 'Elige Tu Propia Aventura' tour, an explosive live show that turned the Auditorium into a pogo pit and celebration.
Spain's most representative indie rock band lands at the boutique
Carolina Durante debuted at the boutique festival with a concert that condensed everything that has made them a reference of Spanish indie rock: attitude, sharp guitars and a setlist the crowd sang from start to finish. Formed in Madrid and barely a decade into their career, Carolina Durante have established themselves as the most representative band of their generation. Diego Ibáñez (vocals), Mario del Valle (guitar), Martín Vallhonrat (bass) and Juan Pedrayes (drums) have built an unmistakable sound, moving between punk-pop and the most direct indie. Songs like "Hamburguesas", "Normal", "Perdona (Ahora sí que sí)" and "Las canciones de Juanita" are part of the collective imagination.
Elige Tu Propia Aventura: office aesthetic and collective pogo
With The Office theme as introduction, the band burst on stage between fluorescent lights and office aesthetic, their staging signature this tour. The setlist ran top to bottom through their new album, without forgetting emblematic songs like "Granja Escuela", "Hamburguesas", "Normal" or "Las canciones de Juanita". Every chorus was sung by a devoted Auditorium that alternated jumps, mosh pits and raised arms, turning Starlite Occident Marbella into a small community where audience and band breathed at the same pace. "When we wrote these songs we never imagined we'd play them in a place like this. It's our first time at Starlite Occident and the place is pretty cool," the band said.
Yo pensaba que me había tocado Dios and a direct closer
Martín and Juan's solid rhythm base, Mario's precise guitar and Diego's restless charisma kept the pulse for an hour and a half. Every track worked as a sharp shot: "Yo pensaba que me había tocado Dios", "Niña de hielo" and "Estrella" rang out with the strength of a band that knows where it stands and where it's going. Without artifice, Carolina Durante leaned on what they do best: direct songs that connect immediately with their audience. After the show, the party continued at the Sessions space well into the early hours.
With Carolina Durante, Starlite Occident Marbella confirms its Auditorium as the natural stage for the great names of Spanish indie rock that are defining the voice of their generation.
