Emilia opened the XIV edition of Starlite Occident Marbella on June 13, 2025, with a show built around her album '.mp3', lighting up the Auditorium with the biggest hits of the new Latin pop wave.
The Argentine star who conquered the open-air Auditorium
Emilia Mernes returned to Starlite Occident Marbella as one of the most relevant female voices in international Latin pop. After playing the festival in 2023 and dazzling the Auditorium in 2024, the Argentine singer was chosen to open the season and set the tone for the entire edition. The choice was no accident: her album '.mp3', a Latin GRAMMY nominee with billions of streams, had already positioned her as a reference point for the new urban generation.
A show of charisma, production and connection with the crowd
On the Marbella Auditorium stage, Emilia delivered a setlist that connected with an engaged audience from the first minute. Tight choreography, costume changes, a contemporary aesthetic and immersive visuals accompanied the artist throughout the concert. Her dance crew and an arena-scale staging turned the night into one of the most memorable season openings in recent years at the boutique festival in Sierra Blanca.
The hits that filled the night and the celebrities in the crowd
The setlist ran through the most celebrated songs from '.mp3' and recent career highlights. Among the loudest sing-along moments were "La_Original.mp3", "Blackout", "No_Se_Ve.mp3", "GTA.mp3" and "Como Si No Importara", anthems the Auditorium sang from start to finish. The crowd included Eduardo Cruz and Eva de Dominici, Patry Montero and Álex Adróver, and Kiko Matamoros with Marta López Álamo, regulars at an opening that has already become a fixed date in the Andalusian summer.
With Emilia, Starlite Occident Marbella once again proved why it is regarded as the best boutique festival in the world: a night under the stars that opened a summer to remember.
