Gente de Zona
Gente de Zona turned the Starlite Occident Marbella Auditorium into a Caribbean dance floor on July 2, 2025, debuting with 'Reparto by Gente de Zona' and a stage surprise from Lorena Gómez.
The Cuban duo who conquered the cantera with Caribbean flavour
After playing the Sessions stage in 2016 and 2018, Alexander Delgado and Randy Malcom made their Auditorium debut at Starlite Occident Marbella, two of the leading names of international Latin music. With 25 years on the road, a Latin Grammy for Best Tropical Fusion Album and three Latin Grammy Awards for the iconic "Bailando" with Enrique Iglesias, the Cuban duo has reshaped Latin music with anthems like "La Gozadera" featuring Marc Anthony. "Spain is like our second home, this is our third time at Starlite Occident, a truly spectacular stage," they said.
Reparto by Gente de Zona and Lorena Gómez's surprise
The concert was a celebration of Cuban culture and the festive spirit that defines the duo, from the opening chords of "Bailando" to the closing "La Gozadera". Their new album "Reparto by Gente de Zona" also played a leading role, with tracks like "Demasiado" and "Almohada" warmly received by the Marbella audience. One of the most exciting moments was Lorena Gómez's surprise appearance, joining the band on stage for the first live performance of "Iguales y diferentes", a unique moment the Auditorium applauded on its feet.
Familiar faces in a big party under the stars
Among the crowd were footballer Iñaki Williams and singers Manuel Cortés Bollo and Tony Mils, none of them willing to miss this great Caribbean party in the Nagüeles cantera. The Auditorium's stunning natural acoustics, combined with the duo's overflowing charisma, made the night one of the most joyful of the season at the boutique festival.
With Gente de Zona, Starlite Occident Marbella reaffirms its place as a summer essential for international Latin music: a night when the rhythm never stopped under the stars.
