With more than five decades on stage, Gilberto Santa Rosa is one of the great names of Latin music. With an official catalogue of over 30 albums, he is renowned for his stage elegance and interpretative power, and has been honoured with five Latin GRAMMY® Awards, one GRAMMY® and the ASCAP Latin Heritage Award, among many others. Throughout his career he has taken salsa to the top with a romantic, close style that has earned him the public's loyalty at every stage. "I'm thrilled to be here. This festival is incredible and I was longing to come. Thank you for the love," he said on stage.
Auténtico World Tour: two hours of salsa and emotion
From the moment he stepped on stage in his trademark suit, the Puerto Rican had the crowd on its feet. Songs like "La agarro bajando", "Un montón de estrellas", "Cartas sobre la mesa" and "Ahora o nunca" set the tone for a show in which the Auditorium became a vast dance floor. Over two hours, Santa Rosa walked through his most beloved anthems, including "Vivir sin ella", "Conciencia", "Que alguien me diga", "Conteo regresivo" and "Qué manera de quererte", sung by a devoted audience from start to finish. There were also more intimate moments and a bolero fusion.

Backed by his impeccable band and lighting that adapted to every register, the artist delivered a complete show combining dance, nostalgia and charisma. In his first visit to Starlite Occident Marbella, Gilberto Santa Rosa made clear why he remains an undisputed reference of the genre. A night where love and salsa took centre stage and, as he himself confirmed, "never go out of style".
