Gipsy Kings
Gipsy Kings ft. Nicolas Reyes returned to the Starlite Occident Marbella Auditorium on August 4, 2025, with a full house and a collection of classics that still sound as current as decades ago.
The rumba legend returns to the Marbella cantera
The rumba legend of Gipsy Kings ft. Nicolas Reyes returned to the Starlite Occident Marbella Auditorium with a collection of timeless classics. With over 25 million records sold and a career that has carried their rumba-pop across five continents, the Gipsy Kings remain a global phenomenon. Led by the unmistakable voice of Nicolas Reyes, the band has kept its essence intact: the fusion of flamenco roots with the international sound that turned them into icons.
Djobi Djoba, A tu vera and a Bamboleo finale
The group left no room for rest. "Djobi Djoba", "A tu vera", "Allegria" and "Un amor" were sung by a devoted crowd from the very first chord. There was also space for more intimate moments and instrumental arrangements that showcased a solid band, well aware of its timing and repertoire. Reyes' voice, calmer than in his younger years, still carries enough weight to fill any stage. The finale arrived with "Bamboleo" and "Volare". An elegant, festive close, with the audience on its feet and applause stretching until the night's next act.
A night shared with Walls and familiar faces
After closing the chapter of classics, it was time for the handover: Walls took over the Sessions stage with his "Luna 18" tour. Familiar faces like Dr. Marián Rojas, supermodel Valeria Mazza and actress Cayetana Guillén Cuervo enjoyed an unforgettable night under the stars, in which global rumba pop shared the evening with the freshest Spanish urban pop-rock.
With Gipsy Kings, Starlite Occident Marbella reaffirms its Auditorium as a natural stage for the great rumba-pop legends who still fill venues across five continents.
