The Barcelona indie-pop artist arrives at the cantera
Santi Vancells, real name of Barcelona artist Hey Kid, began his solo career in 2021 with "Qué tal te va??", an intimate track that marked the start of a path on which he has built his own indie-pop sound. With more than one million monthly listeners on digital platforms and collaborations with names like Leo Rizzi, 84 and Iñigo Quintero, Hey Kid has become one of the young artists with the most projection on the national scene. His arrival at the Starlite Occident Marbella Sessions stage after the Siempre Así concert confirmed his sweet moment.
A Nuevos Lugares: Noche de San Juan and a fresh debut
Backed by his band, Hey Kid opened with energy and built a setlist that combined songs from his latest record, "A Nuevos Lugares", with tracks that have already earned a special place among his followers. "Los lugares donde irás", "Y es bonito" and "Noche de San Juan" marked some of the most sung-along moments of the night, while songs like "Lo que haga falta" or "Donde estés tú" reinforced the connection with the audience.
