Marc Anthony took over Starlite Occident Marbella with a sold-out double bill on July 3 and 4, 2025, filling the Auditorium with the king of salsa on one of the most anticipated nights of the XIV edition.
The king of salsa makes his cantera debut
With more than three decades on stage, several GRAMMY Awards and over 12 million records sold, the American artist of Puerto Rican roots stepped onto the Starlite Occident Marbella stage for the first time, triggering an immediate ovation. His unmistakable voice, magnetic charisma and a top-tier band turned the night into a journey through every chapter of his career. Young Mexican artist Tony Mils, 22, opened the show, presenting his debut album "Escribí esto para ti" live.
Sold-out double bill and Latin devotion at its purest
The salsa icon returned the next night to crown his double engagement. If the first show was a burst of rhythm and celebration, the second pushed the energy even higher with a Friday-night crowd. Backed by a brilliant orchestra and a sober yet enveloping staging, Marc Anthony gave it all in both his Starlite debuts. "Vivir mi vida", "Valió la pena", "Te conozco bien", "Mala", "Flor pálida" and the ballad "Y hubo alguien" filled the night, all sung by an Auditorium on its feet from start to finish.
A stellar night for familiar faces
The crowd included Nicole and Bárbara Kimpel, Gunilla Von Bismarck with her son Fran Ortiz, Alejandro Gravier, Keiko Fujimori, Mario Alonso Puig, Lucía Rivera, Marisa Jara, Alma Cortés, Rosario Mohedano, Nuria Fergó, Joselu Mato, Hubertus von Hohenlohe and Simona Gandolfi. Two consecutive nights of resounding success left a lasting mark on the XIV edition of the boutique festival and reaffirmed Marc Anthony as one of the most influential voices of contemporary salsa and Latin pop.
With a debut of the highest order, Marc Anthony confirmed that Starlite Occident Marbella is the natural destination for the great legends of Latin music at the top of their game.
