Raphael
Raphael returned in triumph to Starlite Occident Marbella on July 5, 2025, with his 'Raphaelísimo' tour and a historic sold-out night, adding his seventh appearance at the festival at the age of 82.
The Divo of Linares returns to Starlite Occident Marbella
Born in Linares in 1943, Raphael has built a career of more than six decades that has cemented him as one of the most emblematic artists of Spanish-language music. His unmistakable voice, stage presence and a catalogue of classics have shaped generations, turning him into an enduring icon. This date at the cantera was especially anticipated, not only for the artist's stature but also after a recent break from the stage for health reasons. He has been part of Starlite Occident Marbella's history since its very first edition in 2012, and with this concert signed his seventh appearance at the festival.
Raphaelísimo: a night packed with timeless classics
Dressed in strict black, as his personal trademark demands, and backed by a carefully crafted staging, the artist opened the evening with "La noche" and "Yo sigo siendo aquel", two of his most emblematic anthems. His voice, intact and powerful, filled every corner of the Auditorium, which responded with ovations after every song. The setlist included classics like "Mi gran noche", "Digan lo que digan", "Escándalo" and "Como yo te amo", sung by a devoted audience, alongside nods to French chanson with "La vie en rose" or "Padam Padam", and more intimate moments like "Amo" or "Si no estuvieras tú".
Surrounded by family and familiar faces on their feet
Backed by his family and with familiar faces such as Vanesa Martín, Morante de la Puebla, Raúl Sénder or footballers Carlos Soler and Sergio Rico in the audience, Raphael received an ovation on a magical night that will be remembered. The crowd said goodbye to the singer on its feet, with a long, heartfelt applause that summed up the spirit of an evening where the master once again proved that his bond with the stage remains unbreakable.
With Raphael, Starlite Occident Marbella reaffirms that its Auditorium is the stage where Spanish-language music pays tribute to its eternal, incomparable and irreplaceable legends.
