Scorpions
Scorpions celebrated six decades on stage at Starlite Occident Marbella on July 21, 2025, with a full house, unleashing their hard rock arsenal at the Andalusian cantera.
60 years of the legendary German band
Scorpions delivered at Starlite Occident Marbella a legendary hard-rock night celebrating their six decades on stage. The mythic German band gave an unforgettable concert to a packed, devoted Auditorium, with a setlist of timeless anthems that confirmed the group is still as energetic and current as ever. With more than 110 million records sold, they are one of European rock's most influential bands. Led by Klaus Meine, with Rudolf Schenker and Matthias Jabs on guitars, Mikkey Dee on drums and Pawel Maciwoda on bass, they offered a solid run through their career.
Love at First Sting turns 40 at the cantera
They opened with "Coming Home" and from there never let up. Recent tracks like "Gas in the Tank" lived next to classics such as "Make It Real", "The Zoo" or "Coast to Coast". There was also room for the night's most sung block: "I'm Leaving You" and "Bad Boys Running Wild", from the album Love at First Sting, which turns 40 this year and has been the thread of the tour. The final stretch was, as expected, the most explosive: "Big City Lights", "Blackout" and "Rock You Like a Hurricane" provided the closing punch only a legend can deliver.
Pure rock, no smoke and mirrors
Without lengthy speeches, Klaus Meine held the line throughout the concert. He knows when to save his voice and how to connect with the crowd. The band, solid with years of touring behind them, responded at every moment. Mikkey Dee had his moment with a drum solo that drew applause, and Matthias Jabs proved again that his guitar still carries its own weight in every show. Among the crowd, sisters Barbara and Nicole Kimpel did not want to miss the date, enjoying a night already part of Starlite Occident Marbella's legacy.
With Scorpions, Starlite Occident Marbella reaffirms its Auditorium as a mandatory stop for the great international hard-rock legends on their anniversary tours.
