Seal
Seal returned to Starlite Occident Marbella on July 10, 2025, with his anniversary tour and signed an intimate night in which he stepped off the stage to sing among the audience at the Nagüeles cantera.
The author of Kiss From A Rose returns to the cantera
There are artists who stop time the moment they open their mouth. Seal is one of them. At 62, the British singer landed at Starlite Occident Marbella for the second time —after his 2023 visit— to make clear his thing is still soul, in every sense. In a setting as intimate as the cantera, his concert turned into a mix of personal confessions, 90s classics and reflections wrapped in soul, pop and electronica. "Every day I wake up, I pinch myself. I feel so lucky to have had, and to still have, this life in music for 35 years. It's crazy," he confessed.
30 years of Seal and Seal II live
On his current tour, celebrating 30 years of his first two records —Seal and Seal II— the artist did not just look back, but opened new musical paths with lyrics about mental health, communication and the chaos of today's world. His instantly recognisable voice ran through classics like "Killer", "Crazy", "Prayer for the Dying" and the eternal "Kiss from a Rose", alongside new tracks like "AIKIN (All I Know is Now)" and "I've Been Thinking". Every song arrived loaded with history and emotion, supported by a solid band and an elegant, unfussy staging.
Stepping off the stage to sing among the crowd
Seal surprised the audience by leaving the stage to sing among them, creating a unique moment that reflects the special closeness defining the festival. "To connect… that's the most essential thing I try to keep in mind every time someone comes to a concert. Tonight, at Starlite Occident, I felt a wonderful connection. Thank you for that," he said. Familiar faces included Alexandra Swarovski and composer José María Cano, who enjoyed the show alongside Sandra García-Sanjuán and Ignacio Maluquer, the festival's founders.
With Seal, Starlite Occident Marbella reaffirms its essence: a space where the artist does not just perform but shares the night with the audience under the stars.
