Siempre Así
Siempre Así turned Starlite Occident Marbella into a true flamenco fair under the stars on August 19, 2025, celebrating 30 years with their eighth visit to the boutique festival.
30 years of Sevillian rumba at the Nagüeles cantera
Siempre Así was born in Seville and, from its beginnings, has maintained an unmistakable identity: freshness, flamenco roots and lyrics that connect with all kinds of audiences. Their music has crossed generations and become part of the soundtrack of gatherings, parties and celebrations in southern Spain, thanks to a repertoire that combines rumba with sevillanas and other popular genres. Recently honoured with the Gold Medal of the city of Seville, the sextet led by Rafa Almarcha has kept its essence intact while adding new hits and tours. "This is the eighth year we play this stage and for us it's a must. We come to give it all!", they said.
Para volver a volver, Se me va and a fair under the stars
Classics like "Para volver a volver", "Se me va", "Cuando vuelva a Sevilla en Primavera", "Esa mujer" and "Te estoy queriendo tanto" were sung by a devoted crowd from the start. There were tributes to figures like María Jiménez or Rafa Serna, and sevillanas that got much of the audience dancing. The night also left room for more emotional moments with songs like "A mi manera", performed with the strength and personality the group has built over the years. Between handclaps, smiles and complicity, the concert became a tour through more than thirty years of musical history.
Hey Kid at Sessions and familiar faces
After the Auditorium concert, Hey Kid made his Sessions debut with his "A Nuevos Lugares" tour. The crowd included Victoria de Marichalar, Anne Igartiburu, Ana Brito, Marisa Jara and Ramón Calderón, on a night that also featured the previous evening with the triple concert of A Dos Velas, Juan Peña and "Una y Nos Vamos" with Fran Rivera. A day that reflected the festival's most festive essence: variety, connection with the audience and proposals capable of moving in very different ways.
With Siempre Así, Starlite Occident Marbella reaffirms its Auditorium as the great fair of the south, where Andalusian rumba is still synonymous with celebration under the stars.
