Anastacia
Anastacia played Starlite Occident Marbella on July 14, 2026, her fourth visit to the Auditorium. The concert coincided with the World Cup semi-final between Spain and France, and she celebrated the result with the crowd.
A concert with the World Cup in the background
As soon as she walked on stage, Anastacia joked about the match being played at the same time: if news of a goal reached her earpiece, it might slip into the middle of a song. It did. Spain's second goal came while she was singing "Paid My Dues", and the audience answered with chants of "¡España, España!". During "Overdue Goodbye" the place in the final was confirmed and she stopped the show to celebrate: "Thank you for coming to the concert, and Spain won. That's a result of results".
Bamboleo, La Flaca, La Macarena and a duet in Spanish
While introducing her band, which she calls "the A team", Anastacia and her backing singers performed a medley of "Bamboleo", "La Flaca" and "La Macarena", the last one danced by the whole venue. With Nick, guitarist and vocalist in her band, she sang "I Belong to You" in Spanish, the song she originally wrote and recorded with Eros Ramazzotti, introducing him with a laugh as "the English Eros". With four costume changes, the ninety-minute show mixed "Sick and Tired" and "I'm Outta Love" with rock nods such as "Sweet Child" and "Kashmir".
Fourth visit since 2015
Anastacia first played this stage in 2015, came back in 2017 and 2022, and in 2026 added her fourth night at the Cantera de Nagüeles. Towards the end she thanked the audience for her 26-year career: "All of you up there have not gone unnoticed". Anne Igartiburu and Sandra García-Sanjuán, president of Starlite Occident, watched from the presidential box.
Four concerts in eleven years sum up Anastacia's relationship with Starlite Occident Marbella, and 2026 added a semi-final win to the story.
