Antonio José

Date: 20 AugVenue: Marbella

Antonio José brought his "Luz Tour" to the Cantera of Starlite Occident Marbella on August 20, 2026, in a concert that featured the premiere of a charity song, a marriage proposal in the audience and a tribute to his mother.

The premiere of "No Quedan Ni Palabras"

The artist performed "No Quedan Ni Palabras" live for the first time, a song written in San Martín de Valdeiglesias, by the San Juan reservoir, an area later hit by the wildfires in Madrid's Sierra Oeste. "Everything this song raises will go towards reforesting the hills of the Sierra Oeste de Madrid," he announced. On his choice of venue for the premiere, he said: "I don't think there was a better stage than Starlite Occident."

A proposal, and "Por debajo de la mesa" with his mother

During "A un milímetro de ti", a couple got engaged in front of the whole venue. They wore matching T-shirts: his read "She loves Antonio José; I love her" and hers, "I'm her". Later, the singer walked over to the Presidential Box to ask his mother to sing Luis Miguel's "Por debajo de la mesa" with him, the first song the two performed together when he was a child. His parents watched the concert with Sandra García-Sanjuán, Ignacio Maluquer and designer Félix Ramiro, who created the artist's stage outfits.

From the stalls to the stands, with Andalusia as his engine

For "La quiero a morir", Antonio José stepped down into the stalls, sang sitting among the audience and, at the request of those in the stands, climbed up to join them too. About "Luz", the album that gives the tour its name, he explained that "the heart is much fuller of beautiful things" than on earlier records. And about his homeland: "Andalusia is everything to me, it's the engine of my life." He also had kind words for fellow artists on the bill such as Vanesa Martín, Antoñito Molina, Rosana and Pastora Soler, whom he called "one of the best voices in this country".

"Starlite Occident, you are my home, you are my family," Antonio José said as he left a stage he comes back to, in his own words, every year.
