Carlos Rivera
Carlos Rivera played a sold-out Starlite Occident Marbella on July 22, 2026, his fourth visit. During the concert he announced that he is going to be the father of a girl, who will be named María.
"I'm a starliter now"
"I'm a starliter now, and I'm happy to be back. It excites me every time", said Carlos Rivera on his fourth night at the Cantera de Nagüeles. Before leaving he had words for those who welcome him every summer: "If my dear Sandra, whom I love deeply, will allow me, and Nacho, they are my family: thank you for always inviting me, and for your affection over so many years". Visibly moved, he told the audience he is expecting a daughter named María.
Four marriage proposals in one night
The set, built as a declaration of love, had its key moments in "Un Viaje a Todas Partes", with its kiss cam, and "La Carta", when four couples got engaged in front of thousands of people. Argentinian model and businesswoman Valeria Mazza and her husband, Alejandro Gravier, were in the audience.
From Vicente Fernández to José Luis Perales
Dressed as a mariachi to sing "El Rey", Rivera remembered Vicente Fernández and the promise he used to make to his audiences: as long as they kept applauding, he would keep singing. He then spoke about José Luis Perales, with whom he fulfilled the dream of recording "Un Velero Llamado Libertad" as a duet for his album "Leyendas", describing him as one of the great masters of Spanish music.
A baby announcement and four engagements made Carlos Rivera's fourth visit to Starlite Occident Marbella a night of family news.
