Elvis Crespo
Elvis Crespo played Starlite Occident Marbella on July 11, 2026. The Puerto Rican artist had long pictured himself on this stage, and he ended the night singing "Suavemente" down among the audience.
A stage he had pictured for a long time
Before going on, Elvis Crespo told Sandra García-Sanjuán that he had been visualising himself at Starlite Occident Marbella for some time. "I went crazy, I loved it", he said of the moment he was offered the date. On his way to the venue, seeing the Auditorium for the first time, the feeling changed: "I felt like the first time I went to Disney as a child". Once on stage he described the Cantera de Nagüeles as "a different instrument" and put it this way: "it sounds here in a way it doesn't sound anywhere else". "This is a magical place, full of history. A unique stage. Different", said the singer, whose career spans more than three decades.
Píntame, La Graciosa and the Spanish national team
Crespo celebrated Spain's place in the World Cup semi-finals with the audience and, before launching into "Píntame", recalled that the song was part of the national team's celebrations when they won the title in 2010. "There is a bond between me and Spain, beyond the language and the connection with my ancestors", he said. "La Graciosa", one of his most recent songs, has been chosen by the players themselves as the soundtrack to their goals in 2026.
Abeja Blanca, a couple on stage and Suavemente in the crowd
"Abeja Blanca", born from a story of betrayal and now a viral hit, drew one of the loudest reactions of the night. Crespo invited a couple on stage, she from Ukraine and he from Venezuela, both living in Spain, whose TikTok video dancing to the song helped bring it back long after its original release, and they sang and danced beside him. He also performed "Me Mataron", one of the most personal songs in his recent repertoire. During "Suavemente" he stepped down to sing among the audience.
Elvis Crespo said goodbye to Starlite Occident Marbella by thanking Sandra García-Sanjuán and the whole team, and with a promise: to come back next year.
