Juan Luis Guerra 4.40

Date: 15 JulVenue: Marbella

Juan Luis Guerra 4.40 played Starlite Occident Marbella on July 15, 2026. For two hours the Auditorium brought together Dominican, Spanish, Venezuelan and Argentinian fans, along with people from dozens of other countries.

"Welcome, everyone": a night of many nationalities

"How many Dominican brothers and sisters are here tonight? And Venezuelans? Argentinians? Welcome, everyone", Juan Luis Guerra asked from the stage. Between songs he spoke about faith, gratitude and hope. "For Him nothing is impossible", he said before one of the biggest ovations of the night, a quiet moment made possible by how close the quarry setting keeps artist and audience. When "Que viva España" played, the crowd sang it as one.

Paula Echevarría, India Martínez and Anne Igartiburu in the presidential box

Sandra García-Sanjuán hosted the evening, joined in the presidential box by Paula Echevarría, Anne Igartiburu, Arancha de Benito and India Martínez. Gunilla von Bismarck and Alma Cortés were also in the audience. India Martínez, who performed at the previous edition of Starlite Occident Marbella and Starlite Occident Madrid, came back this summer as a spectator.

Juan Luis Guerra 4.40 left Starlite Occident Marbella with the image of an Auditorium full of accents from half the world singing the same song.
