ARCHIVE/Marbella 2026
Manuel Turizo
Manuel Turizo returned to Starlite Occident Marbella on July 30, 2026, with a sold-out show, two years after his last visit and just a day after learning of his six nominations for Premios Juventud 2026.
A sold-out night and six nominations to celebrate
The Colombian singer is one of the few artists to have performed at both Starlite Occident Marbella and Starlite Occident Madrid. His return came at a good moment: twenty-four hours earlier, TelevisaUnivision had announced him among the favourites for Premios Juventud 2026, with six nominations. Turizo celebrated with the audience and confirmed he will be back at the Nagüeles quarry on September 3 to attend the ceremony. "I'll come with several friends from the industry, because these are going to be unique awards. I wouldn't miss them for the world", he said.
"Marbella, we're ready to party tonight"
Before the first song, the artist stepped down from the stage to hug a young girl in the audience and brought her up for a photo together. "Happy night, Marbella! It feels like we were just here on this stage, together", he said. The set covered his most danceable side, with "Apambichao", "Te Hacen Falta Dos", "Mala Costumbre", "Desconocidos" and "Vaina Loca". "If you came tonight it's because you wanted to have a good time, so don't let anything or anyone spoil that mission", he told the crowd.
A salsa "Quiéreme" and a warm goodbye
The most intimate moment was "Quiéreme", performed in a salsa version. Turizo explained that he wrote it to tell the people who love him how he feels about them, and invited the audience to hug whoever was next to them. He said goodbye with a simple message: "I hope it won't be so long before we see each other again. Enjoy the summer, take care, and have a great time". Among those attending was Valeria Mazza, who spent the evening with her husband, Alejandro Gravier, and their children Taina and Benicio.
Manuel Turizo left Starlite Occident Marbella with a full house behind him and a date already set for his return to the quarry.
