ARCHIVE/Marbella 2026
Rosario
Rosario returned to Starlite Occident Marbella on August 1, 2026, with "Universo de Ley", the project celebrating her thirty-three-year career, in a night of family memories in the town where she grew up.
Back in the place where she grew up
The artist told the audience she had come back "very moved to this land", because it is where she was raised: "all the memories that come to me when I'm here stir me up a little, but they also make me very sensitive". Before "Qué bonito" she recalled her childhood in Marbella, in the house that belonged to Lola Flores, and remembered her brother Antonio Flores, "a wonderful songwriter" and "the pillar of my life". The moment peaked when she shared the stage with her son, Pedro Antonio, on flamenco guitar.
A fifth performance since the first edition in 2012
Rosario was part of the festival's first edition, in 2012, alongside Lolita and Antonio Carmona, and returned in 2014, 2018 and 2021. This was her fifth performance. The set opened with "Mi gato", "De ley", "Al son del tambor", "Sabor sabor" and "Yo me niego", moved into an acoustic section with "La gaviota" and "Rosa y miel", and went on with "Quiero cantar", "Mucho por vivir", "Mi mamá" and "Estoy aquí". Having recently become a grandmother, she dedicated "Qué bonito" and "La casa en el aire" to her career: "life always surprises you and fills you up; it takes things away, but it gives you a lot".
"No dudaría" and the Daddy's party
On "Cómo quieres que te quiera", the song that in her words "opened the doors of America to me", the recorded voice of Sebastián Yatra joined in, as he could not be at the quarry in person. The finale came with "No dudaría", written by her brother Antonio "when he was very young", which Rosario dedicated "to Venezuela, to the children, to the wildfires", asking the audience to shout "for a world full of love and peace". After the concert, the night continued at the Daddy's party, where Rosario and Sandra García-Sanjuán both wore pink, following the evening's dress code.
Fourteen years after that first edition, Rosario returned to Starlite Occident Marbella with her son on guitar and the memory of the Flores family on stage.
