Sanguijuelas del Guadiana made their debut in the lounge at Starlite Occident Marbella on August 6, 2026, the same night Delaossa played the Auditorium, with songs such as "Puñales" and "El Estandarte".

A lounge debut with eyes on the Auditorium

The band made no secret of their excitement at playing the festival for the first time, or of their goal: to come back one day and play the main stage. "Hopefully one day we can play on the big stage. We're really looking forward to playing the lounge today. This is a great opportunity for us", they said. Their set included songs such as "Puñales" and "El Estandarte".

The lounge, a starting point for new artists

The group's wish has precedents. Over the years, the Starlite Occident lounge has been a place of discovery for young artists: Sebastián Yatra, Morat, Piso 21 and C. Tangana all played that more intimate format while they were still building their careers. Backing emerging talent remains one of the festival's hallmarks, alongside the big names in the Auditorium.

Sanguijuelas del Guadiana took their first step at the quarry at Starlite Occident Marbella, with the big stage as their next goal.
